18. MAY 2011 // New Songs & Album update

A few more songs finished since the last update, which have been appearing on different radio shows & podcasts recently. They're of course for the first album, as anyone who's been following us will know. You can hear "Silent Picture Show" on Indie Music Sampler, "Nobody Wants To Know" and "Triggerfinger" on our youtube channel from various places. There's also a download tab on our facebook where you can get the mp3s from soundcloud. Remember to click Like if you do download 'em though...

17. AUNTIE ANNIES // APRIL 2011 UPDATE

Videos from the gig @ Auntie Annies in Belfast are on youtube.com/unquietnights now, including a mighty display of multi-tasking by John on the song "If I Could & You Ever Would". Also, there is an album of photos on our FLICKR from the gig, and some from rehearsal.

Some other stuff from this month... here's a flattering appearance on Alive and Amplified, a show on the radio station of the Camden Roundhouse. "We Were The Ones" will be on a compilation album by Armadillo Records pretty soon.

Wanna thank everyone who is asking about the first album. We're working constantly on it and still plan for it to come out in 2011. You can listen to another track which was mastered this week on many of our websites and the tunewidget on this website. It's called "Silent Picture Show". You can hear "Shoulda Said Something" on The Justin Wayne Show, "If I Could & You Ever Would" on Insomnia Radio UK, and as far as we know the first time one of our songs has been introduced in German on a podcast, over at DailyPod.de HERE. That was "Shoulda Said..." aswell. Thanks to Ed Ovett for playing "We Were The Ones" on Ed's Mixed Bag, and to Johnny Rockin' Reade for playing "Burning The Tracks" and "We Were The Ones" on different shows. Maximum Threshold (Shoulda Said..) and Newport City Radio (If I Could &...) also. 'preciated.

12. RECORDING FIRST ALBUM // JAN 2011 UPDATE

RECORDING FIRST ALBUM

Here's a couple of photos of us recording on the first album, for anyone interested. We've done the pro studio thing before when everything is nice and tidy, but we're going for a bit more personality in the recording process here. The recording's you'll hopefully have heard already have the DIY ethic we wanted. Currently working on one called "Song of Lust" now, stay tuned.

We're doing an Audio-Ill gig this Tuesday 15th February in The Pavilion, Belfast. It's on the Ormeau Road, door is £4 @ 9pm and The Blues Collective, NI Soul Troop, Pretty Ginger & Alison Bradley will also be playing. See some of ya there.
